back from break!

so spring break just ended and it's back to reality again. i ended up going home to good ole staten and had a good time. got lotsa stuff done like eating good food and fixing the lil altima. i also had a job interview at NIH in DC at the end of the week and hung out in DC for some time. spent the weekend in chapel thrill for st. patty's day and worked on my thesis. productive weekend although it was somewhat cold.

i guess the most exciting news is getting a job for next year! yayy! i won't be on the streets...although i will be living close to poverty level. haha. i'm waiting to hear from a few other labs before I make a final decision but it's good to have somehting. next is finding housing. the most annoying part of life. haha.

anyways, thats it for now. defending my thesis the end of the month and so that will be over by april and then its time to apply to med school. i'm excited b/c my timeline is very lax and i can live my last couple months in chapel hill to the fullest! =) gonna end it with a BANG!!
